Construction
Horizontal, multi-stage,
axially split volute casing pump with at least 4 stages
in back-to-back arrangement. Hydraulic balance maintaned
by back-to-back arrangement of closed, fully shrouded
type carefully finished impellers to both sides reduces
axial thrust and permits operation under very high pressures.
Sealing of the shaft of
ample diameter is by means of soft packed stuffing boxes
or mechanical seals on request.
Supporting bearings as
antifriction bearings housed externally in split housings
provided with jacket for cooling water.

Horizontal, direct coupled
electric motor or diesel engine.
