Application

• For large primary water supply and flood control pumping large quantities of clean and mechanically contaminated liquids against small delivery head.
• Used as cooling water pumps for power stations, refineries, industrial and chemical plants.

Construction

Vertical, single stage, axial flow pump with integrally cast or rotatably inserted amply sized curved propeller blades in accordance with the model size and pumping capacity, to adapt the duty to alterations in the working conditions.

Speedy, low-cost maintenance achieved by withdrawable rotating parts, diffuser, impeller housing and suction bell without disturbing discharge or floor plate connections. Oil lubricated supporting bearings as antifriction or friction, grease lubricated bronze or water lubricated rubber intermediate bearings. Shaft sealing by means of soft packing stuffing box or mechanical seals.

Installation

Vertical wet-pit installation with discharge nozzle above or below floor level.

Prime mover as direct or indirect coupled electric motor or as diesel engine on a separate frame.
