SMS
offers a wide variety of double flanged butterfly valves in accordance with DIN
or BS standards from its own production line which covers a full range of diameters
from DN150 mm to DN3000 mm.
Ductile iron cast body and disc which
do not contain any welds in construction, integral feet on flanges or body, double
eccentricity in disc positioning ensures the proper and reliable operation of
the valves. Besides PN10 and 16, the standard pressure ratings of the production,
valves to PN6 and 25 bars which may have special design and materials can also
be produced upon request. | |
Trouble free operation is
supported by robustly designed compact gearboxes having torque capacities suitable
to nominal pressure ratings of the valves. |

to DIN 3202 F4 or BS 5155 short body.
Flanges confirm to DIN 2501, ISO
2531 and BS4504.
The valves are tested according to DIN 50049.
